——1. REPORTS & WORKING PAPERS
2015
- Report 25: Inercia, despilfarro y engaño en el gasto militar. Análisis del presupuesto de Defensa español del año 2015
Authors: Pere Ortega and Jordi Calvo Rufanges. Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau (Soon in Catalan and English) - The Austrian branch of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (Versöhnungsbund) have published in the March 2015 edition of their magazine ‘Spinnrad‘ an article by our Secretary-General Colin Archer : « Move the Money: Die globale Kampagne zu Militärausgaben » (The Global Campaign on Military Spending).
- For a mass of mainly US-oriented resources
- Global Zero: The Cost of Nukes – Approximately US$100 billion per year is spent on nuclear weapons and their delivery systems. These resources are sorely needed for education, health, job creation, environmental protection (including preventing climate change) and supporting sustainable development. Nuclear weapons spending thus impacts negatively on all countries and the world as a whole – not only the ones with nuclear weapons programs.

In this webinar, National Priorities Project Research Analyst Jasmine Tucker will explain the differences between the budgets originally proposed by the House, Senate, President Obama, and Congressional Progressive Caucus, and review the outcome of the budget votes held the week of March 23rd.
