April 29 - Barcelona Press Conference: At 11:30, presentation of the new data on military spending (2018) released by SIPRI within the context of the GCOMS campaign. The focus will be on the oportunity cost of militarism and military spending, mainly for human needs and for the climate. Speakers will be Pepe Beunza (renowned peace activist), Francesc Mateu (Oxfam), a representative from Extinction Rebellion and another one from Centre Delàs of Peace Studies. It will take place at the conference room of La Fede (Carrer de les Tàpies 1, Barcelona).
