Gather on the front steps of the post office at 5th and Willamette for a penny poll, where Taxpayers are given the opportunity to show where THEY want their tax dollars to go. Then, there will be live music and speakers, and war tax resisters will redirect their war taxes by making donations to local organizations. Then, join us for pizza at Whirled Pies, 1123 Monroe Street in Eugene, at 1 p.m.! Whirled Pies will donate 10% of their sales for the whole day (11 a.m. – 10 p.m.) to CALC! Enjoy some some camaraderie and a delicious peace-a pie in support of local peace and justice work.
